Ground Reinforcement Applications
When soils on which an engineering structure is to be built are subjected to stresses exceeding their safe stress level, bearing capacity issues arise, and permanent deformations—such as cracking, settlement, and failure—may occur in the structures built on them. Unlike conventional solutions, geosynthetic reinforcements with tensile strength (geogrids, geotextiles, geocells, composite materials) ensure that the stresses transmitted to the soil are perceived to a lesser extent by the soil, thereby indirectly preventing the soil’s safe stress limit from being exceeded. With this method, the fill structure reinforced with geosynthetic materials functions much like a raft foundation.
- Soil with bearing capacity issues can be reinforced
- In areas to be filled, the internal stability of the fill is enhanced, and material savings can be achieved
- This eliminates problems such as cracking and breaking in rigid structures (cladding, flooring) built on top of fill structures
- Since the stress transmitted to the soil is reduced, time-dependent settlement can be minimized in soils prone to consolidation.

TechGrid© are high-strength and extremely flexible geogrids with a proven track record in soil reinforcement. They are used in retaining structures, embankments, and platforms. They are coated with PVC or PVA depending on the soil structure where they will be used.

HighTex PET
HighTex products are flat woven geotextile fabrics created by weaving high-strength special multifilament polyester fibers in the weaving direction and in the opposite direction. They are manufactured with the desired technical specifications according to project requirements and adapt to all terrain and climate conditions.
Cellular System
Three-dimensional, honeycomb-shaped cell systems can be used by filling them with filler material thanks to their structure.
