İnoflexibit© 2K is a two component, fibre reinforced, solvent free bitumen based brush applied coating developed to provide waterproofing on building surfaces in contact with soil. The liquid component consists of a polymer modified bitumen emulsion and the powder component of a cement based binder. When the two components are mixed, the powder component binds the water within the emulsion and the mixture begins to harden chemically. For this reason the coating cures not only by evaporating its water but by reacting within itself. Its thixotropic consistency prevents it from running on vertical surfaces, while the fibre reinforcement supports the crack bridging behaviour of the cured film.

İnoflexibit© 2K works to prevent water from reaching the concrete on building surfaces that remain below ground. Because it is applied by brush, trowel or spray, it forms a seamless and continuous layer regardless of the geometry of the surface. Since the cured film remains bonded to the surface, water finds no path between the coating and the concrete. Its fibre reinforced flexible structure accommodates movements that develop in the concrete over time.
Seamless Coating
In sheet or roll based waterproofing systems, the overlaps are where water passage is most likely to occur. Because İnoflexibit© 2K is applied as a liquid coating, it forms a seamless layer across the entire surface. The same continuity is maintained at details such as corners, returns and pipe penetrations.
Crack Bridging
Concrete develops fine cracks over time through drying shrinkage and the effect of loading. The fibre reinforced flexible structure of the cured coating covers these cracks without interruption and prevents water from travelling through them. The coating accommodates the movement of the crack through its own elongation capacity.
Adhesion on Vertical Surfaces
Thanks to its thixotropic consistency, the product remains at the applied thickness on vertical surfaces and does not run down. This behaviour allows sufficient thickness to be achieved in a single coat on retaining walls. The cement based powder component supports adhesion to the surface after curing.
