Purtex© is a fleece reinforced, two component, simultaneously curing liquid polyurethane based material that forms a seamless and jointless waterproofing layer on the surface to which it is applied.
Purtex© is applied to the surface in liquid form after its two components are mixed on site, and it cures simultaneously throughout the full thickness. The fleece reinforcement within its structure increases the tensile strength of the cured layer and distributes the stresses caused by substrate movement, providing resistance to crack formation. Because it is applied as a liquid, a continuous coating is achieved at details such as parapet upstands, drain surrounds and pipe penetrations without requiring seams or welds. Bonding to the substrate with full adhesion, this structure prevents water from reaching the building on roofs, terraces, balconies and wet areas.

The white colour of the fleece also allows visual inspection during application, as areas where the material has not been distributed homogeneously reveal themselves on the surface and workmanship defects can be corrected before the layer is closed.

No. Application must not be carried out in the rain. In addition, newly applied material must be protected against rain and similar weather conditions until it has fully hardened.
