TechTex BDU

TechTex BDU
TechTex BDU is a heat-treated, black, carbon-reinforced, nonwoven geotextile material produced by needlepunching high-strength 0 pure polypropylene fibers. TechTex BDU provides UV resistance for 2 years.
GeoMat R Functions
TechTex BDU® Geotextiles serve important functions in various construction projects. Particularly in areas such as landfill sites and mining waste areas, they provide protection when used on top of geomembranes and allow the site to remain open for up to 2 years. Furthermore, in river rehabilitation and flood protection construction, they are used under the covering material to provide separation and drainage capabilities. In highway construction, they wrap around the drainage gravel layer in the created drainage channels to perform the system's filtration function. Thanks to these features, TechTex BDU® Geotextiles play an important role in the construction industry.

Exceptional performance against UV rays
TechTex BDU® reduces the requirements for fill materials and prevents the amount of excavation needed to achieve a specific profile. It provides significant savings not only in construction costs but also in maintenance costs. TechTex BDU® offers high tensile strength and puncture resistance at low product weights, thereby reducing construction costs and delivering higher performance in the project.
