Geosynthetics
Geosynthetics is the general name for textile and composite products used in engineering as an alternative to traditional methods. These products are made by combining polymer materials such as polypropylene (PP), polyester (PET), and polyethylene with natural sodium bentonite minerals. Frequently used in civil engineering, these materials are preferred to solve situations that cannot be resolved with traditional methods in challenging projects in a more economical and effective way. Geosynthetics are examined in five main categories: geosynthetic clay liners, geotextiles, geogrids, geomembranes, and geocomposites. These products offer effective and innovative solutions, particularly in civil engineering projects.
