BentoShield PE is a geosynthetic clay liner formed by mechanically bonding polymer-modified sodium bentonite granules or bentonite powder to both woven and non-woven geotextile materials. This innovative product provides an effective solution for environmental applications requiring waterproofing and isolation.
Functions
Once hydrated, BentoShield PE swells to form an effective hydraulic barrier that is impermeable to liquids, water vapor, and gases. Compared to the meters of compacted clay soil used in storage areas, BentoShield PE provides superior hydraulic performance with a thickness of less than one centimeter.
