Green Retaining Wall

Geosynthetic-reinforced green retaining walls eliminate architectural concerns while achieving an environmentally friendly appearance. They also enable the construction of retaining wall structures at heights unattainable with conventional concrete retaining walls. Green retaining walls allow for the safe formation of fill areas, particularly in residential and highway projects.

  • Thanks to their flexible systems, they can exhibit elastic behavior during an earthquake.
  • With their green appearance, they can also meet this need in buildings with landscaping concerns.
  • Retaining walls can be constructed at heights that would be unthinkable with reinforced concrete retaining walls.
  • To enable greening, the front faces can be manufactured with the desired slopes (70-60-50 degrees).
