With the advancement of technology, various product groups are coming to the fore in the building materials sector, and errors encountered with alternatives are being minimized. In particular, a wide range of insulation options and products made from different materials are making applications easier and more positive. However, using the right product in the right place and in the right way remains an important step. Two-component products like Purtex offer an effective solution to this problem, particularly in areas such as roofs and terraces.

Functions

Solvent-free polyurethane resin and fiber reinforcement-based two-component insulation systems provide an effective solution to challenging problems where traditional insulation methods fail. This system, used particularly in areas such as roofs, terraces, and parking lots, has the ability to be applied wet to wet surfaces. It can be used in various application areas such as green roofs, parking lot tops, balconies, pools, gutters, and roof valleys. This innovative insulation system provides long-lasting protection thanks to its durable resin and fiber reinforcement, while also effectively addressing various structural details.

Insulation systems reinforced with two-component fiber

The most important feature that distinguishes the Purtex insulation system from its counterparts in the industry is the fiber reinforcement elements applied alongside it. Thanks to these fibers, tensile stresses in the area are counteracted by a reinforcement element, preventing cracking and damage to the insulation. Additionally, workmanship defects (the white color of the fiber allows it to show in areas where the product is not applied homogeneously) are eliminated. Criteria to be considered in applications: *The surface to be applied must be dry (maximum moisture content %5) *The surface must be free of factors that affect adhesion, such as paint, oil, grease, and loose particles *Any deep cracks or holes on the surface must be repaired before application *If necessary, adhesion must be ensured by using an epoxy or polyurethane primer on the surface Points to note during application: * No foreign materials should be added * *Apply in two coats *Do not apply in the rain *Do not dilute the product with water *Protect newly applied material from rain and other weather conditions until it has fully cured
