Protex PolyLock is a versatile, new-generation waterproofing system specially developed for tunnel insulation. It provides strong protection by combining self-healing polymer-modified sodium bentonite granules with an impermeable PE film and an active polymer layer. It forms an active layer throughout the structure's lifetime.
Functions
Once hydrated, BentoShield swells to form an effective hydraulic barrier that is impermeable to liquids, water vapor, and gases. With a thickness of less than one centimeter, it offers better hydraulic performance than compressed clay used in storage areas, which is several meters thick.

Protex PolyLock is the only insulation system that fully adapts to the challenging conditions inside tunnels, providing flawless insulation by performing its function within the system throughout the structure's lifetime.
