Koza Gold Mine

At Koza Gold Mine, one of our country's distinguished institutions, a regular waste storage facility is being constructed to prevent waste materials generated after enrichment processes from mixing with nature.
According to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization's regulation on mining waste, a leak-proof layer must be provided in storage areas to prevent harmful leachate from reaching the soil. The impermeable layer that must be created is achieved using a variety of geosynthetic materials, the main ones being Geosynthetic Clay Liners, HDPE Geomembranes, and Nonwoven Geotextiles. In addition, Drainage Composites and Erosion Control Liners are used during site closure.
The Bentoshield 5000 series product was selected for the geosynthetic clay liner at Koza Gold Mine, with an application area of 125,000 m².
